As part of the “ops team” for Dwelling of Duels, TheManPF confessed that October’s theme is one he championed. “Aliens Month” was indeed the perfect opportunity for participants to get creative, and we took the chance to finally interview this multifaceted arranger and guitarist, who we also had the pleasure of meeting in person during Pokérus Project‘s concert in Mexico City the month before.
The excerpt from the interview that we decided to present as an alt, was one where he comments on the important part that the competition has played in his own self-betterment and professionalization. As such, we decided on the title “like gravity training!”, in reference to both: the source he decided to cover and the intensity that the competition brings to his own training as a musician.
We are thankful for PF‘s help and welcoming attitude, ever since we joined the DoD Discord server. And even more so, for taking the time to talk to us and even recruit the help of his primary collaborator Zachary Chapman for the backing music.

Once again, dubbing was kindly provided by evilsonic, the now head administrator of DoD.

DoD Entry (Spanish):
You’ll notice that PF‘s speech is a lot more relaxed when talking than it is when dubbing!

Backing Track:
The track PF decided to cover was the battle version of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero‘s main theme, a brand new game that neither of us has played, but that harkens back to his origins as a Dragon Ball cover artist on YouTube. Bass was kindly provided by Zach Chapman.
As a bonus, here’s a couple of pics from the mini “DoD Latam Reunion” that took place during September:
